Shiva Amini, membro da equipe nacional de futsal do Irão, foi proibida de jogar futsal depois de ter participado num jogo amistoso no exterior sem cobrir o cabelo com o véu. Num post no Instagram, Amini escreveu:
Nunca pensei ser impedida de jogar no meu próprio país por causa de um pedaço de pano que eu não usei para cobrir a cabeça e porque as minhas pernas não estavam completamente cobertas, durante uma viagem particular, nem sequer foi numa competição oficial”.
Women’s national futsall team player denied participation because lack of veil
Shiva Amini, a member of Iran’s national futsal team, was deprived of playing futsal after she played in a friendly game abroad without covering her hair with the veil.
In a post on her Instagram, Ms. Amini wrote, “I had never thought that I would not ever be able to play in my own country again, because of a piece of cloth that I did not cover my head with and because my legs were not completely covered, in a private trip and not even in an official competition.”
