The Nuchatta Foundation, a communication team from the occupied territories, published a video with shocking images from Ben Al Mehdi Hospital in El Aaiun.
The Hospital, which is also known as the “experiment lab” or the “butchery “, is clear evidence of the deplorable conditions to which Saharawis are subject in the occupied territories of Western Sahara.
Morocco, which receives hundreds of millions of euros directly and indirectly resulting from the exploitation of the territory’s wealth and illegal agreements with the European Union and other third countries, is not even able to maintain the minimum hygiene in the hospital of El Aaiun.
We recall the text that we published a few years ago and which unfortunately remains current in which we denounce the barbarities committed in this same hospital where surgeries are performed without anesthesia to Saharawis, the police are inside the hospital and Saharawi activists are mistreated. The Saharawi population is subject to intentional medical negligence by the Moroccan occupation administration.
Once again the United Nations shuts its eyes, the European Union is an active accomplice and finances these atrocities and Spain behaves as if it had no relationship with the Saharawi people who it colonized and sold to Morocco in a shameful way as if selling a herd of goats.
The daily life in the occupied territories for Saharawis is painful, terror and violence are an integral part of the experience of children, young people and adults.
Neither in the hospital nor in the school does one feel safe, the moral and ethics of the noble profession of doctor is discarded by those who practice it in the occupied territories where there are only doctors from the occupation regime.
