Jovem saharaui entre a vida e morte por gritar «Autodeterminação»
A 28 de Junho, no primeiro dia da visita de Horst Koehler, enviado pessoal do Secretário Geral das Nações Unidas para o Sahara Ocidental, a El Aaiun, a policia atacou violentamente a população saharaui que saiu às ruas para deixar uma mensagem clara a ONU: Maghreb Barra, Labadil Labadil antakrir el Massir – Marrocos Fora – não há outra solução que não seja a autodeterminação.
Durante a repressão aos manifestantes um carro da polícia atropelou e feriu fatalmente o jovem Ayoub Ali Elghan. Segundo as testemunhas presentes o carro empurrou o jovem contra um muro onde o “esmagou”. A familia informou que no hospital foi diagnosticado com fractura da bacia e várias outras fracturas, hemorragias internas, ferimentos na cabeça.
No dia 29 de Junho o jovem que entrava e saía de coma e cuja situação é muito critica, foi transferido para um avião fretado para o transportar acompanhado da sua mãe para um hospital em Marrakesh, fora dos territórios ocupados. O avião teve uma avaria e regressou a El Aaiun.
Ayoub encontra-se no hospital de El Aaiun e em estado muito grave.
As autoridades marroquinas receando o pior filmaram Ayoub no hospital e obrigaram-no a dizer que não foi um carro da Policia mas sim um carro civil que o havia atropelado junto das vivendas na Avenida Smara, fazendo circular o video nas redes sociais. (ver video 1)
Esta montagem à moda das autoridades marroquinas é facilmente desmentida uma vez que ha fotos dos jovens que o transportaram após o atropelamento no Bairro Zemla, perto do Club Rojo. Os jovens para não serem identificados pela policia colocaram mascaras nas caras. (ver fotos 1 e 2). O bairro Zemla encontra-se a cerca de 2km de distância da Avenida Smara.
Os ataques, atropelamentos, espancamentos, torturas e sequestros de jovens saharauis pelas autoridades marroquinas é o dia a dia que se vive nos territórios ocupados.
O facto de a visita de dois dias de Horst Koehler não ser acompanhada por nenhuma imprensa estrangeira não é casualidade, mas sim censura de Marrocos que não deixa entrar jornalistas que não estejam ao serviço de sua majestade no território.
Ayoub, jovem saharaui de 18 anos, é estudante e nesse dia saiu à rua como quase toda a população saharaui para de forma pacífica demonstrar a Horst Koehler que nenhum saharaui aceita a proposta de plano de autonomia de Marrocos nem a integração do território no Reino Alauíta que invadiu o Sahara Ocidental em 1975 com colonos e uma contigente militar e bombardeou a população com Napalm e fosforo branco. Ayoub apenas queria gritar Marruecos Barra, Labadil Labadil Antekrir El Massir, e provavelmente irá pagar com a vida a sua audácia. Uma vitima mais entre as centenas de milhares de vidas que Marrocos destrói perante o silêncio da comunidade internacional.

On 28 June, on the first day of the visit of Horst Koehler, Personal Envoy of the United Nations Secretary General for Western Sahara to El Aaiun, the police violently attacked the Saharawi population who took to the streets to leave a clear message to the UN: Maghreb Barra, Labadil Labadil antakrir el Massir – Morocco get out! – there is no other solution than self-determination.
During the crackdown on demonstrators a police car ran over and fatally injured young Ayoub Ali Elghan. According to the witnesses the car pushed the young man against a wall where he was”crushed”. The family reported that in the hospital he was diagnosed with a fractured basin and several other fractures, internal bleeding and head injuries.
On 29 June, the young man who was in and out of a coma and whose situation was very critical, was transferred to a chartered plane to transport him accompanied by his mother to a hospital in Marrakesh outside the occupied territories. The plane had a breakdown and returned to El Aaiun.
Ayoub is in the hospital of El Aaiun and in very serious condition.
The Moroccan authorities fearing the worst filmed Ayoub in the hospital and forced him to say that it was not a police car but a civilian car that had run him down near the houses on Smara Avenue, circulating the video on social networks. (see video 1)
This set-up in the style of the Moroccan authorities is easily denied since there are photos of the young people who transported him after he was hit by the police car in Zemla neighborhood near the Red Club. Young people not to be identified by the police put masks on their faces. (see photos 1 and 2). The Zemla neighborhood is about 2 km away from Smara Avenue.
The attacks, beatings, tortures and kidnappings of young Saharawis by the Moroccan authorities is the daily life lived in the occupied territories.
The fact that Horst Koehler’s two-day visit is not accompanied by any foreign press is not by chance but rather censorship of Morocco that does not allow journalists who are not at the service of his majesty in the territory.
Ayoub, a 18-year-old Sahrawi youth, is a student and on that day went out to the streets like almost all the Saharawi population to peacefully demonstrate to Horst Koehler that no Saharawi person accepts the proposal for a Moroccan autonomy plan nor the integration of the territory into the Alawite Kingdom who invaded Western Sahara in 1975 with settlers and a military contingent and bombed the population with Napalm and white phosphorus. Ayoub just wanted to shout Morocco Barra, Labadil Labadil Antekrir El Massir, and will probably pay with his life for his audacity. One more victim among the hundreds of thousands of lives that Morocco destroys before the silence of the international community.
